4 Days 3 Night - Geopark Ciletuh Explorer Itinerary
DAY 01 : BANDUNG – CIWIDEY
- Arrival in Bandung: Pick-up at Husein Airport/train station/shuttle bus, and meet with our local guide.
- You will be transferred to Ciwidey; during the journey, participants can enjoy views of the villages and plantations.
- Lunch at a local restaurant.
- Then visit Kawah Putih; here you can enjoy unforgettable scenery and very cool, clean air.
- Next, head to Rancabali Tea Plantation for a photo stop amidst the lush, refreshing tea fields.
- After enjoying the tea plantation, proceed to Glamping Lakeside Situ Patenggang, a natural lake with a historical story of two people meeting at the Love Stone (reaching the Love Stone requires a boat ride – optional cost).
- Then transfer to the hotel to rest.
- Dinner at the hotel; free program.
DAY 02 : CIWIDEY – CIDAUN – UJUNG GENTEN
- Breakfast at the hotel.
- Check out of the hotel and transfer to Ujung Genteng via Cidaun. You will enjoy beautiful natural scenery during the journey.
- Lunch at a local restaurant featuring village cuisine.
- Afternoon: Arrive in Ujung Genteng, check in at the hotel, and enjoy free time.
- Dinner at a local restaurant.
- Then, you will be taken to Pangumbahan Beach to witness the turtle nesting.
- Return to the hotel; free program.
DAY 03: UJUNG GENTENG – GEOPARK CILETUH
- Breakfast at the hotel.
- Start heading to Geopark Ciletuh. This journey is the highlight of the Geopark exploration, as we will visit geological sites that are thousands, even millions of years old. First, we will stop at Panenjoan, a viewpoint where you can see the Ciletuh Geopark area from the Panenjoan Peak, offering a stunning view often referred to as the Panenjoan Natural Amphitheater.
- Next, we will traverse mountains and forests to reach Pelabuhan Palangpang.
- Upon arriving at Pelabuhan Palangpang, you will board a traditional fishing boat that we have prepared to take us to the heart of Geopark Ciletuh. Here, we will see Mandra Island, Kunti Island, Batu Kodok, Batu Belah, Batu Punggung Naga, and Batu Batik, all over 65 million years old (according to research by Prof. Mega from UNPAD). If you’re lucky, you might also see a group of dolphins up close. Afterward, we will return to the harbor.
- Upon arrival at the harbor, lunch at a traditional restaurant featuring coastal cuisine, including grilled fish.
- Next, you will visit Waterfalls, known in Sundanese as Curug. The first waterfalls we will visit are Curug Sodong and Curug Cikanteh, which are in the same location but at different heights. Curug Cikanteh is above Curug Sodong, each with its unique characteristics.
- Then, we will proceed to Curug Cimarinjung, which has the advantage of being tiered, with water sourced from the Cimarinjung River.
- Continue the journey to Puncak Darma to watch the sunset at an elevation of 340 meters above sea level, offering a breathtaking view.
- Afterward, head to the hotel/accommodation in the Geopark Ciletuh area.
- Dinner and free program.
DAY 04: CILETUH – PELABUHAN RATU – BANDUNG
- Breakfast at the hotel, then check out of the hotel.
- Proceed to Pelabuhan Ratu.
- Upon arrival in Pelabuhan Ratu, visit Karang Hawu Beach and then head to the famous Geyser Cisolok hot springs. The hot springs are located in the middle of a river with cold water, but they emit hot water to the surface, warming the surrounding cold river water.
- Lunch at a local restaurant.
- Continue the journey to Bandung.
- Upon arrival in Bandung, end of service.
